Scope
The main objective of the pilot project is to integrate the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools, particularly of text type (examples, ChatGPT, BARD, ...) but not only, in teaching (AI tools onwards). Through this incorporation, we seek to enhance student learning and improve their ability to achieve the learning objectives defined in the subjects in an efficient and effective way.
The degree of innovation was based on several aspects:
a) Technological: The use of AI Tools as a virtual assistant in the flipped classroom gives students access to advanced natural language technology that allows them to obtain updated and quality information in real time
b) Methodological: The flipped classroom modality of the course allows students to be the protagonists of their learning, researching and preparing the topics before class. The integration of AI tools in this dynamic broadens their research opportunities and enriches their preparation for class presentations.
c) Collaborative: The subject's group work encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing among students. With AI Tools, groups can discuss ideas, ask questions and resolve doubts more effectively.
d) Creativity: The use of AI Tools as a tool for idea generation enhances students' creativity and gives them a broader perspective in the development of their business plans
The work plan was developed in three main phases:
- Phase 1: Introduction and familiarization with AI Tools.
- Phase 2: Integration of AI tools in the learning process.
- Phase 3: Evaluation and closure of the project
Students presented their full proposals, highlighting how the use of AI Tools has influenced the development of their projects.
In this workshop we will explain how this was done and provide some preliminary assessments and results.
