Scope
Learning outcomes:
- The workshop will briefly review the NaturTEC Kids project, that is, the “how was it done”. Developed within the framework of action and context of a Living Lab, which favours the co-design of educational solutions based on disruptive digital technologies (Augmented Reality and Big Data), involving the participation of children and adolescents (9-17 years old).
- Participants will examine the key design principles, the process of development and the steps followed. For this purpose, they will engage in a hands-on practice, replicating the work methodology and adopting the different roles that contributed to the development of the application, to gain insights from the challenges addressed at each step of the process.
Who should attend:
This workshop is aimed at educators and non-educators interested in learning how to develop applications with the participation of children and adolescents towards formal and informal environmental education. Based on a recent real-life experience, participants will get insights from professionals who contributed to the development of a real app, from technicians to researchers.
